Online balance check
At this point in time, programmers have not yet fully optimized the system, it gets better every month, but still cannot be such a decent transport platform.
The official website of the card cannot yet give clear information about checking the user’s balance, so it will not be possible to find out.
There are some ways to check the balance.
The first way is to present the Troika card to a special terminal, usually it is yellow.
There are a lot of such terminals, especially in front of the metro station, you can also see them in the meter turnstiles.
Approaching it, a person will insert a personal card and will be able to start using it.
In addition to the terminals, you can use the Mobile ticket. This is a person’s virtual balance on the Troika card, in order to get such a ticket, you must meet the following conditions; – Have a good enough smartphone that supports various technologies, including NFC;

– Also, for comfortable work, it is better to use the Android phone operating system, since many applications are developed on this platform, besides this it is considered the most popular;
– Mandatory presence of a SIM card that will have access to NFC technology. You can get this card in MTS, Beeline, MegaFon stores – the issue is absolutely free, so you can come and start using it;
– The last condition is to install a program called “My Travel Card” on the Android.
When a person uses his personal card, he will lose money from his smartphone account for using public transport.
Also, the payment occurs without commission. Beginners need to know that the payment will be spent in the same way as in the Troika payment card. The main advantage of the My Travel Card application is that when a person needs to check his balance on a plastic card, he can do it without any problems.
If the user has a question about how to replenish the account, then here you can use ticket machines or underground ticket offices. The most active place for replenishment, people choose the automated kiosks of the Mosgortrans State Unitary Enterprise, as well as the frequently used Aeroexpress cash desks.
Recently, the use of the Troika card has become very frequent, but many users wanted to be able to replenish the card without leaving their homes. Therefore, after a while, the developers provided people with such an opportunity.
Now each user, despite the time, will be able to check or top up a personal card using the Internet.

More advanced users are advised to use a special, already created application.
The easiest way to check the card account is to use the application, but not every user has a card that supports NFC contactless technology – this is the only condition that must be met.
NFC technology will allow the user to see the card score very quickly, for this you need to take the Troika card and put it on the back of the mobile device. You also need to run the application for it to work correctly.
Every resident of Moscow knows and has seen such bright terminals – they are installed at all metro stations without exception. Today it is the easiest way to find out the status of the account.
It is enough to attach the card to the scanner of the terminal and look at the balance and expiration date on the screen. There are no actions with the card at this time – the money remains intact.
In addition, you can check Troika at the terminals of Eleksnet, Megafon, at the railway station at the terminal that prints tickets and at any metro operator at the box office.
Another non-working service – earlier it was possible to send a message with the word “Balance” to number 3210. A short number is available for MTS, Beeline and Megafon subscribers.
If the number is linked to the card, a message with the current status came in a couple of minutes. Today this feature is not available.
Unfortunately, today the system does not have special services that allow you to find out the balance of funds on the card. The official site provides an opportunity only to replenish the account and nothing more.

To be able to check the status of the card at any convenient time, install the My Travel Card application. However, there are some nuances here: the application only works on Android phones with NFC technology support. In addition, the phone must be connected to the Internet.
The mobile application allows you to check the balance of funds, replenish the card, and also record information about purchased tickets into it. The main drawback of the application is the need for constant access to the Internet. Without it, the service will not work.
There is another convenient service called Mobile Ticket. It is also installed on phones with NFC support. To connect it, you need to conclude an agreement in a mobile phone shop. The advantage is that now you do not need to carry a plastic card with you. All you need to pay is your smartphone.
Both of these methods are simple and convenient, but not for everyone. If your phone does not support NFC technology or is not connected to the Internet, then you will have to choose another method for checking the balance. The same applies to owners of iOS phones.
If your smartphone does not have access to the Internet or the application is not installed in it, you can control the balance by card number. You need to do the following:
- Dial support
- To contact the operator, press 4
- After connecting with the operator, find out the status of your account
Today, these three ways to control the balance are the most convenient and safe. The developers of TC Troika planned to create a personal account for each client on the official website, in which one could check and replenish the balance, monitor the number of trips entered in the document and carry out other operations. Unfortunately, a personal account for users has not yet been created. Perhaps in the future it will still appear.

Replenishment of the card via SMS
There are special yellow information terminals at Moscow metro stations that allow you to find out the status of your account and the number of trips on a subscription. To do this, bring a plastic card to the terminal. The monitor will display all the information on your tariff.
If your transport card has TAT trips, you can easily check the number of trips. When you enter the passenger compartment of a city vehicle and hold your plastic card to the validator, you see information on your trips on the screen.

If you have an e-subscription for commuter trains, you can find out information on it through the ticket printing terminal. Touch the plastic media to the machine’s scanner and receive data on your document. You can also check your subscription at the cash desks of the CPPK, MTPPC or at the controller’s portable terminal on the train.
Unfortunately, today the system does not provide an opportunity to check the balance using the Troika card number via the Internet. Therefore, you can use only those methods that were discussed above.
Checking your account balance via mobile is easy. For example, you can install a special application that allows you to monitor the remaining funds on your travel card using the Troika Balance Check utility. To do this, simply put your card on the smartphone cover, and get the result – displaying your balance on almost the entire screen.

There are two numbers: 8-800-100-77-90 (free of charge for all regions of Russia) and 8-495-539-54-54 (for residents of Moscow), by which, hypothetically, one could get up-to-date information about account status.
